help with boot in games
 

i have just started to copy dvd games and four of them boot the playstation log and wont load the game the games are metal gear solid 2 and on one lives forever and max payne and cart fury they are all uk pal games i have pioneer dvr-104 and the copying software i am use in is nero 5.5.82 and primo dvd the disc are unbranded generation 3 disc i have a massiah and my ps2 is a v5 or a v6 Board im not shore which Board it is can any one help me please

What happens exactly?

Try to burn it on better media
Example:
Traxdata--100%
Memorex---100%
Vebartim---100%(the best)

R U sure nero 5.5.8 can duplicate DVD?, or probably because of DVD-R, it should be DVD+R (high compatibility with all DVD-Rom drives)...

Because I am about to copy that game too, I havent done it yet, let me know if Nero 5.5.8 or 5.5.9 can really work to duplicate DVD to be played in PS2??

Ur best option is primo dvd soft.Its work 4 me every time.

R u using the pioneer a04 or a03?
what media r u using?
and what system r u runing?

RIcoh, I tried, but primoDVD was not able to detect my ricoh dvd burner..., could you send me patch to make it working on ricoh??

5.5.9 (and 5.5.8 if i''m not mistaken) does copy dvd format to play in PS2

try a trusted branded media your ps2 laser could b real shity

traxdata never fail and r cheap
verbatim u cant go wrong but expensive
apple r very reliabl expensive

but once u copy 1 and it works u know your settings r correct
then u can try to find diff cheaper media

v5 or v6 laser should b fine
try using a cleanind disc (cd with little brushes on it)
many times ps2 will fail to read dvdr but read everything else
dvdr r hardest to read so little dust on laser will stop dvdr working but let everything else read fine

dvd+r u might get newer ps2 to read it but the older ones wont that i can assure u

yes i brought 25 undranded generation 3 disc i got 10 of the disc to doot but the rest wont my nero 5.5.8 works ok .my ps2 is new one it had never bin used befor i had it chipped .i am running xp home
