can't hack my 1st_read.bin from tokio extreme racer
 

i want make the game as a selfboot game

but when i use binhack i get an errormessage

anyone could help ???

or can anyone send me his 1st_read.bin from tokio xtreme racer

Have you unchecked "read only" attribute for 1st_read.bin ?
What is your error message ?

I already had this problem, but I can't remember how I did...

You can try to "binhack" your file on your own :
_ open your 1st_read.bin using an hex editor
_ look for "CD001"

you should find something like "xx xx 00 00 01 00 00 00 43 44 30 30 31" just before (43 44 30 30 31 = "CD001")

_ change "xx xx" by "5C 2E"

he says the specified string was not found

This should be the reason why binhack doesn't work.

I use Hedit.

then i tried bin2boot and he says that:

I wonder if your image is correct...
I had this problem once : all files were here, and the game worked ok, but when I extracted files, they weren't correct.

Try to scan it for corruption with CDMage...

cdmage says invalid format of file

other question:
maybe do you have the game

can you send me your 1st_read.bin ?

You'll need more then 1st_read.bin if your iso is corrupted...
Have you tried to correct it with CDMage, or IsoBuster ?

how can i correct it ?

i can't load it in cdmage, i get an error and then the programm
