Faulty messiah chip

Just a quick one guy...

I been putting a messiah chip for my mate and when I finish the reset button didnt seem to work.

But when I remove the reset wire the console seem to work back on it original.(not working base on the reset wire).

So its posible the messiah chip itself faulty???

Thanks

The RESET wire is the way to disconnect the Messiah - it reports pressing of RESET. if you put ot tp the wrog place...??

I doubt that the Messiah is faulty but it is possibly miswired and causing electrical difficulty.

Thats is what I thought.................but:;

Charlie I have been doing chipping for a while now and I'm pretty sure my soldering is right.I even buzz all wire to make sure no bridging and I even take the chip completely out to make sure it work originally so I can't explain why???

Just unfortunate I didnt have any spare chip or I can replace the chip to find out if its a faulty chip.

But can U explain in detail what did u mean by::::
I doubt that the Messiah is faulty but it is possibly miswired and causing electrical difficulty ::

Thanks Charlie.....................

If you conencted pulsing lines to data lines, for example. Don't ask me which - but if it's miswired, that's a possibility.
