Recommended CD-R's
Hi guys,
i though it might be useful for those wishing to backup their PS2 games to know what cd-r media is best. Could everyone please reply to this thread and say what cd's they are using for the backups. This will probably help others in choosing the right media when backing up. Also, it is a good idea if you don't want to damage the laser unit by using low quality disks. thanks |
The PS2 doesn't seem to be very picky about CD-R's...(As long as your laser is decent)
It can be VERY picky about DVD-R's..... As far as cd-r's in concerned, I use Memorex branded cd-r's... Haven't had one problem with them...... |
Im currently using TRAXDATA and the bottom are coloured green. I was told that green seems to be better for the PS2.

BG is right. It doesnt really matter what media u using as long as it decent.I was using datasafe and I have no problem with that.

Thank you guys for that.
Anyway, what do u guys think about black couloured CDr's? IF you head down to www.traxdata.com you can see differernt colors offered. I can get hold of the black ones but im thinking, would this be great since the PS1 uses black colored disks. |
well i've decided to buy my first pack of Verbatims from www.dabs.com
They seem to be the best says charlie_ps2. |
Multicolored CDR's are just a fashion idea they dont have any better qualities than any other disc out there. Personally I would be embarassed to use them (too girly).
