error after 98% loaded with utopia
 

and me again :-)
after trying a few methods burning gauntlet legends utopia 1.1 and 1.2 took the cdr and began loading the game, but only to 98% then the process halts and the screen goes to the dreamcast-starting-screen (pad, vmu, time, etc.)
can someone tell me why?

Booting Problem
 

Have you got a scart lead connected?
if so I don't think it will boot up with it connected
you'll need to put your RF cable in instead, as the game
has some NTSC protection (if you can call it that)

yes, exactly that was the problem! i always use my rgb-cable to play - but after using my rf-unit gauntlet legends starts without any problems!!

no i haven't, 'cause i never knew that a tool like this exists :-)
can you explain me how to use it (and where to find?)

It removes some PAL protections.
It might works.
It's really simple to use : just select your image (or 1st_read.bin) and launch the search. It will tell you if it can find something.

Hmm then this is the reason why my gigawing doesn't work.. go figure :)

what is a scart lead?
is that a black thing where 3 cables must put in?
