Which Modchip Do I've ?????!!!?!?
 

Hello,
A friend just got me a modchip.. (Messiah clone, I think).. I looked alot to know what exactly is it and what PS2 does it support, but I had no luck...

On the chip written:-

ACTEL
ProASIC
A500K050
FG144 0221
ZA220500

HONG KONG

.....
Can someone please tell me what is it and where do I find the diagrams for it??!!

Appears to be a Messiah.... Go to the Messiah website....

I went there already... but the text on the chip is different than mine..

The word Actel on the chip indicates it IS a Messiah. BG is correct. It is a GREAT chip. It really is something else!

I beleive the numbers that you refer to as not matching are the batch #'s of the chip..... Should still be a Messiah......:cool:

Well, I'm afraid that It's a different version of the chip or something... that's it.. If it's the same version so, why the chip numbers are not matching.??!

So, I use the Messiah (Bootmagic) chip digrams, without worrying?? ... the picture in the digrams is the same as the chip I've except for the numbers on the Actel chip..

And, it's for the PAL V3, V4 , V5 & 6.. eh?

YES! Use the diagrams on the China Messiah Website!
The ONLY difference in the chip you have and the chip pictured is that your chip was manufactured at a different time from the one pictured...
AND yes...... Its for the PAL #'s you mentioned and also for the NTSC V4 (only certain ones)...
