Coping PS2 games with a cdr-w

Hi guys, I have been told that u can copy dvd's to your hard drive and burn them using a normal burner. Is this also true for playstation 2 games ?. And if it is, is there someone who could explain to me what programs and procedures i would need to do this ? Or lead me in the direction of someone who can help...thanks

Well if you use a normal AO3 or AO4 you should be fine, since those are normal burners.

There is a way to rip ps2 games but Im not going to explain it to you. There is more than just a few things to learn about ripping a ps2 dvd game.

Tyler!

If all you have is a "normal cd-rw" burner the you will only be able to copy CD based PS2 games.... Since your drive is a DVD "reader"... you could RIP DVD based games...(WAY TO INVOLVED AND TIME CONSUMING)..... Best bet would be, get a Pioneer A03 or A04 DVD burner.......

Well thats what Tyler mean : ripping the game
The game that u have is dvd game base and u have to rip it down to a smaller size >640MB so u can burn it to ur normal cdr-w
Like Tyler say its alot to explain so here is the site where u can have a look yourself:
