Help at CDRWin-error!!!

Hi,

a second problem. When I'm trying to write a game backup.iso on a Verbatim 80min I get a errror saying" Bad media 8h 4h 2h 0h CC" or something like that but when i'm using a 74min CD-R it works. What's the problem and can it be fixed???

It sounds like your CD-RW. If it is quite an old one then you will be having this problem. Old CD-RW do not understand 80min CD-Rs because they didn't exist back when they were developed. Hewlett-Packard writers suffer from this. The media is a very, very good brand - Verbatims are great so it isn't this. You could try updating your drivers and firmware but if this doesn't work then get a new CD-RW. They are cheap these days and you can get them for around £45.00. They are even cheaper at a good computer market. I've seen them for about £20 with burn-proof and 40x writing ability. Good brands as well. Get a new CD-RW which supports 80min CD-Rs. You won't regret it!

I think it's something else cause when I'm doing a Data-Cd whith Nero5 the Verbatim 80min cds work.
