Two Japanese companies Hudson & Victor has developed a new protection for CD, called the "ROOT". It kind of protection can be used not only on CDs, but also DVD or PC games!!!"

I doubt it will block evoX, and if it did, a new version would come out. Evo-X uses the xbox's capabilities of reading xbox-only dvd's to copy games. If the xbox can read it, chances are that evoX will too.

Regardless of what anyone comes out with to try and stop a game from being copied.... EVENTUALLY, someone will crack it.... There is NO protection that cannot be broken..... Some just take a little more time than others.:cool:

Well I have to disagree on this..Only about .99% anything is crackable..certain things are uncrackable no matter..

Such as?

Fade protection. Unless the game is in CD format then you can use Clone CD but if its DVD..There is nothing much we can do..
Some 989 Studio games there are no patches for it..

I know what you're talking about.... BUT its like anything else.... Fade Protection has not been out that long..... Eventually someone will CRACK it....... If a human designed it...... Someday a human WILL CRACK it.........
But...... like you said..... Nothing much you can do right now.... Guess we will have to be patient until someone can get around it....:cool:

At once time Bill Gate did say that x-box game will not be able to make any backup copy but look now everybody backup their game using evo-x........................
