Does a USB mod work on a V5? Also does it ruin the laser?

Yes the USB mod will work (Although EXTREMELY limited) Not a good choice for a mod chip in my opinion......
No, it will not harm you laser..... Stay away from the NEO 2.2...... IT WILL DAMAGE YOUR LASER........:cool:

what do you mean by extremely limited??

It has trouble playing DVD-R backups, requires gameshark or action replay to work..... Waste tons of time swapping discs.... Too much trouble...... Get a Messiah or Magic 2..... They direct boot everything with no swap........
