to patch or not to patch...........
 

Ok I've got a stealth mod chip in my psx. Some of the games on the protected list I have made copies of and have had no problem playing. Other such as MBL 2003 wont play. I've been using nero to copy. So does MBL have some other protection what type of patch do i need to play it. :confused:

Sometimes the patches don't work, or are for the wrong region. You could also experiment with different programs, ie CloneCD.

you say you use nero? what settings do you use (just curious, cause I use nero for many onther things but not burning games) ,and does it work very well?

I think it works really well this is the first game out of about 30 that did not work. The oly reason it did not work was because of the mod chip protection. There are no patches available for any of the new 989 sports games because they have insane copy protection on them. 10 seconds into the game and it goes to the "modified" screen. :mad: Damn you 989, EA makes better sports games then you ever will... :p
