Winning Eleven 6 Patch problems
Hi
I'm trying 2 patch a image of Winning eleven 6, with the Jap2Eng text patch using PPF- O-Matic V.3. However, i'm told that u can't patch the image if it's already been patched, as you need a clean BIN file. The image was already patched with Jap swap trick patch. Is there their a way of reversing this so that the image is clean so that you can modify it correctly. I've tried, (PPF Patch Reverse 0.1b By iCON) which i got from 'Megagames' but it failed to work. Does anyone know any other methods of reversing this. Help would be appreciated. Thanx! |
i've tried that jap2english patch and just doesn't work for me
i ended up with 2 coasters, yeehaw my suggestion...get international superstar soccer 2 |
You need a burner that CAN write in RAW mode. That is very essentual for this patch. I have successfully patched that game and it works great. I have also patched the earlier version Winning Eleven 5 with 2 patches, one getting a lot of the jap to english and the other getting more jap to english. WE5 is not totally 100% jap to english though.
The only way you can reverse a patch is if the patch is reversable. A lot more patches are just now becoming reversable, but older ones simply are not. PPF-O-Matic 3.0 has just recently opened that world to patchers. Tyler! |
To TylerDurden (Winning Eleven 6)
I tried it on a friends burner, which is a Plextor 12/40/10 i think and it's works fine now. However, my Burner is a Mitsumi 4804TE, which does support Raw Write etc.. coz i burn loads of PS1&PS2 games all the time. Couldn't understand why it wouldn't work though when i tried to burn a disc as it would hang on a black screen each time after the PlayStation®2 screen appeared.
Thanx for ur help! |
Some writers are better than others. A plextor is a good burner.

what you suggested before is no good man!
There is no comparison between winning eleven 6 and international superstar soccer 2. The second one sucks!! Or play winning eleven 6 or dont play at all. These two soccer games although both are made by konami are totally different. Winning eleven 6(Pro evolution 2(October 2002)) is way to perfect to be compared. |
