which dvd rom is for me?

hi forum,

i am wnating to buy a new dvd-rom for my machine but i am after one that will read sub data/audio.

ne idea which i should go for? i have a modest budget but dont really want to spend a fortune.

at present i have a lite-one cdrw which i am very please with so was looking at their dvd's. do they make good ones?

i also have a BTC dvd-rom but it is old now and just about on its last legs hence why i want to replace it.

cheers for the advice.

I'd suggest the toshiba sd-m1612.

DVD rom

I can tell you what not to get... And that is a Samsung 304b or a similar models... I went through three of them in the warrenty period. I was stuck with it and can not get my money back so they just kept sending me another one, then another one, then another one....
Good luck...
Russ
