copying only certain scenes from dvd
 

Hi, is there any software out there that will let me copy only a specific part from a dvd (ie a particular scene) rather than having to rip the entire film, Ideally I would like to be able to specify a specific point in the film and record from there. It would be useful if the output was an avi file aswell, although not essential.

Maybe, there is a tool, but I don't know it.

You could do the following:

Use smartripper. It lets you rip single chapters from a dvd.

The use a cutter (jiao vcd cutter, e.g.) to cut out you favourite scene.
