how do i modify these two files plz ?
 

hello guys

ive down loaded a file to fix 'no-cd' for warcraft3 ver 1.0
it says i have to:

No-CD Instructions:
Install the game - Full Installation.
Replace the original WAR3.EXE & WORLDEDIT.EXE executables with the ones from the Executable Archive.
Play the Game!

ok now ive only download 1 file and i have too update two files 'WAR3.EXE & WORLDEDIT.EXE executables ' now how do i do this exaclty?
i presume i have to copy and paste my 1 file into 2 areas of warcraft 3?
plz post how exactly i do this in simple terms, do i use windows explorer etc ?

the file you downloaded is an archive, so you first have to extract it with winace or winrar (see sticky topic).
use Search button to find out more.

whats an archive file ?
why wasnt the file i downloaded in the correct format?
which do i need to down load winace or winrar ?
then what happens to the file i down loaded, plz explain in simple terms, what i need to do exactly to make this file work i down loaded, once ive down loaded one of the above winrar or winace? do these programs do every thing for me etc ?
