snes emulator
 

i have just downloaded the snes emulator but dont know wat 2 do now do i just have 2 copy it on 2 cd or is it much more complicated than that any1 know please

Head over to http://dcfactory.cjb.net/ and download the DCFactory. Next download the plain DreamSnes (or any emulator) files from www.dcemulation.com and follow the programs script through, the script is very easy to follow, just like installing a program.

i downloaded the dreamcast factory like u said i installed it but as soon as i try 2 open it it comes up error and says it will now close any ideas

Ok, hmm first did you directly download the program from the main page? if so goto http://krypt.dyndns.org:81/dcfactory/download.phtml theres a big message saying that something else needs to be installed first, so your best bet is to try that.

If that dont work post back your specs (ie. what os your using) and ill try and help some more, but try what it says on the site first.

i thought i had downloaded that aswell but i didnt anyway i have now downloaded it and its working now wat do i do please

ok fire up the program.

1. Click on the 'tasks' button.
2. Select Dreamsnes.
3. If you havent already downloaded the plain files version then click on 'download', or if you have already downloaded the plain files then click on 'perform task'
4. Follow the wizard.

i did wat u said but it wont play on my dc??????????
does it matter that i burnt it on2 a cd-rw???????

Thats a big yes, it wont work with cdrws so burn it to a cdr.

ok i burnt it and all i got was well everything except the games when i press a 2 select a game i get a blue screen 4 a couple of seconds but thats it i burnt it at 8 speed then i tried 2 speed the lowest 1 i could do i used nero any suggestions please

ok im not sure what the problem here is, the only suggestion i can make is to check that your roms are all correct. You could try using a romlist.

Head over to http://www.consolevision.com/dreamcast/dreamsnes.shtml
and download RomList Creator.
Once youve downloaded that use that program to create a rom list and put that in your roms directory, and make sure that theres only roms and the romlist.lst (or whatever its called) file in the roms folder.

i read somewhere u need the game roms but i dont know where 2 get them hint hint anybody
