what software to use to copy an audio cd
 

when i use nero to back up an audio cd from the shops,its does it okay,but when i play it on my music centre,some of the songs kind of stutter for a split second.
the cd from the shop is okay.i have tried the backup on other music centres,and it still stutters.
will clone cd and clonyxxl do a better job for me.thanks.

If the CD is from the store, just either use Windows Media Player (copy them to your HD, and then burn them to CD ((you can make it sound better with different bit rates through the options menu)). Or just use something like EASY CD CREATOR.

I recommend using CDEX to rip the MP3's and then nero to burn the MP3's

And how do you backup the audio cd? CDCopy?

If you wanna use CloneCD, just copy and use the Audio CD setting. That's it.

You dont lose any quality if you rip at cd quality

Um... you do lose some quality when using mp3's. Difference can be clearly heard. And it isn't necessary at all to use mp3's as a middle step. Simply use a good extractor program. This one is the one I always use. It's fast, easy to use, and tries to make an errorfree extraction. You can set it's output to mp3's or wavs, but I still recommend wavs.

thats hilarious. honestly. i almost fell outta my chair. cd quality is wav. any bitrate lower than that isnt cd quality. its pretty simple. that 320 kbps rip? its not cd quality. in all honesty, i think the math works out to it being less than 1/3 of a cd's quality. look at this page - http://www.fliptech.net/bitrate.shtml - you can tell where the loss of quality occurs - in the highs. wav = decompressed = no encoding/loss ;)
