Crippled Version of Nero?
 

I just bought a TDK 16x10x40x drive that came with Nero 5. It works fine with the TDK drive, but the TDK drive does not read subchannel data. I would like to use Nero with my older drive also, which does read subchannel data. But Nero says this version of the program only works with TDK drives. Is there any way to make this version of Nero also work with my older non TDK CDRW? Thanks for any help.

You only got the OEM version of Nero. They want you to like it and buy the full version, which will work with your older writer. 8-)
