Can you use gameshark codes with your burned games???? The guy that put in my mod-chip said that you can't but I heard from others that you can.

YES U CAN USE CODES WITH BURNED DISKS THEY WILL WORK PERFECTLY I USE THEM WITH TWISTED METAL BLACK IT WORKS FINE.

Trouble with some Magic2's
 

I've seen some posts where there is difficulty using codes on DVD-R-s with some of the Magic2's. Spotty, may be specific to a certain version only....not sure.

You may have to do the second swap during the "Updating Codes" Screen if using a swap mod setup.

As for the direct boot chips like the Messiah and Magic2....not sure. Search the forums. Charlie and the other vets are apearing on the new ps2newz.net forums--you might want to try searching a bit there for some ideas.

I heard a lot of people putting the magic 2 chip got problem with the gameshark codes infact reading through the tread someone comfirm that magic 2 chip wont work on gs/ar 2
