Hey guys,
Ive been doing a lil bit of a search around the forums and have found that many people use different settings for backing up Different playstation games. Im just trying to find out what are the BEST and even more so Most RELIABLE settings to use when backing up Playstation games? I have clonecd also which i use frequently, I of course relize that some are protected and there for need a patch. But for all the unprotected games what settings do you recommend?

Im using A Philips PCA460RW and an ATAPI CD-R/W 4X4X32.


Currently my settings for Backups for CDRWIN 3.9A are as follows!

Reading Options : RAW
Error Recovery : IGNORE
Jitter Correction : DISABLE
Subcode Analysis : DISABLE
Data & Audio Speed : 1X or 2X
Read Retry Count : 50
Subcode Threshold : 300


Does anyone reccoment i use different settings.??

Just sick of Coaster. I could make enough coasters for the population of australia lately!!!

I hate it when people complain about answering a question. If you dont wanna answer it then DONT! I have embarrased moderators everywhere by showing their bad attitudes. This person at time of post only has 3 posts. Which means they are a newbie. Give newbies a break. Tell them nicely to do a search. Dont expect everyone to know how to use forums.

Well Like you suggested about searching the forum, I had already done that prior to my post geez. If you read my post properly you would have gathered that!!

its all good except for error recovery. you should change that to "abort".

hi if you go to psx forum .com you can download a few versions of clone cd you mite find one that will work i use the 3.3.41 or 3.5.32 they have heaps for you to download free annette

U cant be much more of a novice than me i only started patching and burning psx games about three days ago, i use cdrwin 3.9 with the settings as is,ie as it was when it installed i have not come across a game it aint made acorrect image with yet, i also use clone cd 3.2.1.1 i used ver 4 but it done a few weird things so i went back, settings on clone i use are read sub data from data and audio, speed settings on bothe are maximum i use a 40x lite on and it aint produced 1 coaster on psx game yet.

I did get a few errors while the auto run for clone was working so i disabled that and all is fine, if your having to burn that slow u may want to look at what other progs are running in the back ground and disable as many as you can, do u have a good serial for cdrwin it may be making them cause it dont belive your serial ??
