ps2 mod chip help
 

i just got my ps2 modchip & gameshark. i can get my ps1 backups to work but i cant get any of my ps2 backups to work. i think it may be the way i am burning them. does anyone know where it will tell me how to make ps2 back-ups, or you can just tell me.

What modchip do you have? Are you in the US or someother country? How did you copy your backups?

i have the PnP key Plus (no-solder). i am in canada but have a usa version ps2 console

i copied my games with the instructions on mega games( the same way i burned my ps1 games)

One last question what games have you tried?



Also note that I have known a lot of people that have had problems with the PNP mods.

If it boots psx backups then it's working ok. Stick to direct backups, cd to cd-r, dvd to dvd-r, and you should be fine. Copy the PS2 games exactly like the PSX games.

Hey whats up, i can play psx backups and originals, and ps2 originals or direct cd copies... but i cant seem to get bin/cue games to work...
ive tried cdrwin at 1x, nero at 2x
im not sure what modchip i have but its internal/soldered and im also using a gameshark...
any help would be amazing

i have tried to burn rugby and nhl hitz 2002

I suggest you always use clone cd for burning your games, also i think that the games you tried to burn are EA so either your cd-r must be full clone cd compatible or you can patch them.try to find further information about your cd-rs compatibility with clone cd. All games i tried with clone cd even EA work perfect except one wich had laser lock and i copied it with blind write.(my cd-r is a plextor):D

i would like to know how to burn games with cloneCD anyone who knows please leave ur answer.
