What software to burn with?

Can someone tell me which software i should use to burn ps2 games downloaded from the net?

I've already used both Nero 5.5.7.2 and Blindwrite 4.0.5.48, but both have their fair share of difficulties running on the console.
Games (cd format) burnt with nero have difficulties loading and games burnt with Blindwrite has difficulties being read by the ps2.
The speed i burn my cds at is 4x.

I read that i should use cdrwin to burn my games. Will this make a difference?
I don't want to waste more cds.

Thanks!

What ModChip do you have installed? This may be causing the reading problems. Some software is not suitable to burn particular formats of game (CD, DVD etc...). Some software just doesn't like burning PS2 games. Try something like Nero Burning Rom for DVD and CloneCD for CD format games. If you provide some more info on your system then maybe some clearer answers can be provided...

I have never had a problem using any of those programs to burn ps2 cd's. If your having problems, your laser may be quiting on you.

i also burnt ps2 games with nero and they worked fine on my messiah ps2

maybe its the media that your using ?

The media has very little to do with it. I have tested various types of media and most have little or no problem playing. I actually stick with TDK when making my own discs just out of habit and I like that I can burn up to 32x with them.

I still think your laser is on the outs. Try a laser cleaner. Maybe even Defragment your harddrive more often.
