Problem with GTA3 No-CD patch

Hi,

I recently purchase GTA3 and I think the game is great. The only thing is that I want to use the patch for no-cd. So I downloaded the patch and I decided to use it. I tried to follow the procedure about copying the Audio file from the second CD to the audio folder in the computer. I do try it but then I get an error message from certain audio file that say "Invalid MS-DOS Function" (BTW I just do a copy and paste type of transferin from the cd to the computer). I decided to reinstall it but then came another question. It says that I have to do a full installation but is that an option. The only choices I get when they want me to install the game is which language and where to install. I never get the question about full, minimal, or compact installation. Is it an option? Then I was thinking about the other files on the second cd. Do I have to copy the other files from the second cd? They look important. And even when I ust copy the audio files that I can to the folder for audio and try the patch it still asks for the second cd. Well, I just don't know what to do and no I'm not trying to talk about warez. I just need some help please:confused: I hope to hear from you all :D

P.S. Also when I do put the patch all I get is the intro and then it goes to the sreen where it asks for the second cd.

OK I have been searching the forums on this stuff and I am still confused. What I really need are some procedures. Some of you say that I should just search the forum but there aren't any procedures there. It's just people saying "search the forum, search the forum" and that's just phucking annoying. I need procedures on how to do this. If someone could just post a link or something I would really appreciate it. THANK YOU

WHY!

Why does everyone want to use a no-cd patch ??? i dont see why using one is so wide spread :) unless its a dodgy copy;)...or your cd's are nackerd..etc...

get the MYTH one from megagames.com

open MYTH.nfo in Notepad

then try!!!

I tryed it...but nothing

I still don't get it!!!!! I took the advice about downloading the Myth patch and I applyed it to the directory where GTA3 was installed. Then I copied and pasted the audio files from the second cd and put the audio files in the audio folder that was created by the GTA3 installation (BTW for some reason I still can't copy the MSX audio file from the cd. I poste the error message on my first post) Then, when I think everything is going to work, I start the game. The intro shows and then it STILL asks for the second cd!!!!!!!!!! I don't know what the hell is wrong. And I'm getting so phucking pissed at it. Can you still tell me what's wrong. PLEASE!!!!! I'm sorry to bother you but I just really need the help. Thank you for your time. :)

P.S. Thanks to MatyN for helping me. At least I know someone out there knows what a forum is for. I mean damn even the experienced ones are too much of asses to help someone out. Well, Thank you MatyN.
