help with ppfomatic ???
if i have a bin and cue file of fifa 2002 and espn international track and field, how do i patch them using ppfomatic and how do i turn them into an iso so i can burn them??? thanks.

Load your PPF file and your BIN file with PPF-O-MATIC. You can then use the patched BIN file to write to CD-R.
Instead of turning the BIN file into an ISO, use the program called CDRWIN to burn the CD. You can find and download that at http://www.goldenhawk.com. However that is the trial version and may cause some limitations on your burning speed. Hope that helps |

thanks heaps for your help...
at http://www.psxcopyworld.com/ i found a tutorial on how to copy games using nero and i got them working that way :) (the games i have are already copied) this also worked with original games that were compact disc... now i need to find out how to get ea games working such as fifa 2002 and whether i can copy dvd games with a normal cd burner... if you know this i will really appreciate it. |
You will need a dvd burner such as the Pioneer A03/A04 (www.bigpockets.co.uk or www.121cdr.co.uk both £199) to direct copy PS2 DVD format games.
You can use a method known as ripping which basically rips part of the games files out to cut it down to CD-R size. More info on this at www.ps2ownz.com You haven't mentioned what mod chip you are using? |
i'll just stick to the cd games... less complicated :)
i'm not sure what chip i'm using... i can play cdrs upto 700 mb so its not the one that only allows 650 mb... when i boot a game through ar2 i have to hold the power button until the insert cd part... if that helps ??? i am not sure if all ea games don't work as i have only tried fifa 2002 so far and that makes the loading sound, the screen turns black but nothing happens after that... thanks heaps for your help :) |
