please help
 

trying to backup my psx2 dvd games using a pioneer ao4 and using nero 5.5 .reads dvd ok but when it goes to write it keeps aborting at 3% i am also running on a fat 32 file system will this make a difference. any one help me.

hi rob im not 100% sure as i don't copy many discs but i remember reading a post about somebody having problems with the gobal image size using fat 32 system he then tried using the software that came with the a04 instead of nero and everything was fine i know vob dvd comes with the a03 also if your backing up orginal dvd game's i think most are protected

More likely a hardware issue with your PC. I suggest that you go to the A04 Properties and if DMA is ON turn it OFF. What you describe is a symptom of thet (not exclusively though).
