here's my situation, i have nfsse (need for speed 1 special edition), it has no protection, and the cd is scratched. all i have to do is copy what's on the cd to the hard drive, then burn that to a cd, if i was going to copy it. but since the cd is a little scratched, whenever i try to copy what's on the cd over to the hd, it gets stuck on the file 'RX7.TGV', and it says 'Cannot copy RX7: Data error (cycle redundancy check).', so i'm thinking that rx7.tgv, is the file effected by the scratch. What i'm asking is that anyone who has this game, could they send me their 'RX7.TGV' file from the \FRONTEND\MOVIE directory on the cd to me? (it's a 10mb file)

Try reading the disk with Nero with a lot of read retries - and slow the read speed as well.
