no data reading disc
 

when i try to boot my original ps2 game the message no data reading disc appear for about 3 minutes and then I can boot the game.I dont know whats the problem .Why i need to wait 3 min to play my games? please help me guys...

is the disc scratched

Do you hear any noise while your waiting.... Like a clicking noise...
Your laser may be on its way out..... Could be taking a extremely long time to focus.... Does this happen on all games, CD based and DVD based?:cool:

i have the same problem in all cd and dvds and i cant hear any clicking in the laser

Definately sound like your laser is gone....... What version PS2 do you have?

Improve quality of copy?
 

Maybe a slower burn or better quality media would help??

Clean the lens with a cleaning disk (with brushes) first.
