vhs home movies to dvd or vcd
 

I would like to convert my vhs home movies to DVD or VCD, what is the best/easiest software/hardware that I should use. I am a beginner at this and I have no clue where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated

dazzle is probably the easiest all in one solution. however, all you really need is a tv capture card, and then something to convert from whatever format the card saves data into (probably mpeg2) into either mpeg1 (use tmpgenc) for vcd's or leave it as mpeg for dvd's or svcds (guessing). search the web or our site to find more info.
