trying to copy dvd movies ?
 

iam using istaned cd/dvd software and nero 5.5.8.2 software and i cant use them to recored the dvd movies because all the movies is biger than 4.7 gb and all my blank dvdr are 4.7 can i recored on my 4.7 gb or shall i look for blank dvdr thats r more than 4.7 gb dont say this option please i have to many dvdr 4.7gb so please tell me or give me an advise.

well - you sure cant find media larger than 4.7 gb.

Hello soma, I'm no expert but I remember reading something somewhere about splitting your movie so it will fit on your blanks.

hello there soma. Right the first thing you need to do is use a program called smart ripper and rip the movie files to your hard drive. Once you've done that depending on the size of the movie files, you either burn them. or use a program called info edit to rip subtiles/other langauges. and then it might fit, if not you have to split the sound from the video and recode the video , this can take hours (normally between 5-16) depends on movie lenght and computer Spec.
