i see ntsc to pal patch... it it possible to convert pal to ntsc with it?
 

ive got a pal copy of ridge racer type 4, and i need to play it on an ntsc console. all the existing patches are for converting to pal, i need to convert from it. is there a way to do this, or am i just out of luck?

you will need the PAL/NTSC selector patch.

but the only pal/ntsc selector patch is for the ntsc version. i tried that one, it loaded the selector/trainer, but the actual game wouldn't boot.

what burning software/settings did you use?

im using cdrwin 3.8d with the default settings. the problem isnt with the burning, when i played the imge in epsxe, the same thing happened that happened on the psx- it loaded the trainer, but the game wouldnt boot.

for the patching method, i downloaded the patch and used the patch engine Playstation Patch File Version 3.0 - PPF 1.0 & 2.0 to apply it.
