FileForums - DVD problems

Recently my ps2 has been having trouble booting up original DVD games i can here like a click sound and a lock up sound then it tries to read the disc again eventually it boots up and works fine cannot seem to boot up DVD-r now because of this Cd games work fine ...so is my laser dieing?? ive cleaned it with a CD-DVD lens cleaner the one with the brush on ...this seemed to help so does it just need a bit more cleaning or is it nackered?

1 more thing i tried a demo dvd games disc and the video on it was green ??? whats going on here then
