Neverwinter Nights PROBLEMS!!!
 

...And I thought it was going to be a day full of gaming...But I was not counting Bioware's appetite...

I applied the official patch, replaced the nwmain.exe file but whenever I was trying to start the game with a character in Prelude (the very beginning), my PC froze to death!...I needed to reboot it...haaard!

I figured that whenever I was disabling the sound from the game configuration menu, the game was playable. I tried a thousand ways to alter my sound card's configuration (Soundblaster Live! Player 5.1) but nothing, nada! The game refused to run with the sound enabled. I followed the instructions from the sticky note of the forum...nothing!

Any ideas?
