Under run?
Errr...slow down there Tex....
Buffer Under-Run is really only useful if burning at higher speeds. You are burning at <4X right? If so, you don't NEED it. I leave mine on because I also use CloneCD for duping Audio and PC Data on the fly at 8X or higher (my DVD will only pull data at 10X on the average)--one less box to click on to snap off a quick burn. It is always best to read and write slowly. You want to keep the disk and the laser going at a steady rate and constant stream. At higher speeds, you can get a "roller coaster" effect because of delays in the disc getting up to full speed. Also don't use the laser calibration either. This can cause problems if the media doesn't get interpreted correctly. Should also be mute anyway--this only really benefits if using the "MAX" setting for burning. Good Luck! Raist |
