Grand Theft Auto 3
 

got an ahtlon 800, 128 meg ram, 40 gig, gforce 2, xp...

gta3 runs very slow, even with everything on minimal.
delayed screen drawings etc... anyone had and solved this problem??

don't have that problem, but you might not had enough ram, but don't take my word for it, it's jsut that i had a few games which didn't run too well with 128mb, now i've got 256mb it's all good! you should contact rockstar, the people who made the game

gta3 is probably the shittiest porting job i've ever seen. warcraft runs fine at 1280x1024 (or whatever it is) and gta3 doesnt like 1024X800. i hope, for your sake, you downloaded it instead of paying cash.

thanks for the info chaps, got a gforce 2 and had it on 1024x768
pretty crap, tried 800X600, and no difference...

probably get an extra 128, makes sense when i fink of XP.

and as for downloading...
you can download whole games off the internet?!!! :p

Turn off the "Trails" should be better with ur 128MB + gf2
