What the heck? Heh..Heh..Heh..Heh..Heh..Heh..Heh..
You're joking right? Without flamming you read the other threads and you tell me if you need a modchip for a PS2 to play backups..
But I'll tell you this much, since you got A04 YES! you can burn PSx games with the Nero or whatever software you got from purcashing A04..But mostly A04 is good for DVD-R's only..
Heh..Heh..Heh..Heh..Heh..Heh..Heh..Heh..Heh..
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
P.S: I haven't had a good laugh in a while..
Don't take it the wrong way I meant no harm..Just good sense of humor that's all..

Try doing a research before asking questions like this on a forum or any forum for that matter. I mean think about it?
If there was no modchip required for us to play backups don't you think Sony would do whatever in their power stop the manufactoring of sometype for CDR drives..
Sony Games run on a Protection called Libcrypt I believe and something to do with Error correction which CDR drive's correct when burn from Original which has the error..So IF there was such thing as CDR drive that didn't correct the Error you could say It would Boot without the Modchip..
Also Believe me if you asked question like Do I need a Modchip for PS2 on a forum somewhere else you will be joke of the Day or worst case you'll get cursed out by A**holes. I'm trying to help you out here..Read some posts before making a new one.
