Max Payne No CD Help
 

I can't get the no cd patch to work, I install the game and apply the newest patch, then I copy the no cd exe file into the Max Payne folder. When I try to run the game nothing happens, no menus, nothing. It worked fine when I was running windows 98, now I am running xp home. Could be an xp issue, If anyone knows what could be the cause, please help..Thanx

Hey -

I think I was having the same problem. You saw the intro - but then it stopped before the menu, right? Well, I figured out that all you have to do is press control-alt-delete when it "freezes", close the task manager, and then maximize Max Payne again. It works! (even though I have no idea why). Try it, and if it doesn't, I'm sorry because you're screwed. Hehe.
