help with backing up my original copy of warcraft 3
 

I bought a legitimate copy of warcraft 3 today and i tried backing it up with no results. It says put in the warcraft 3 cd when i try loading the game with the burned copy. I need help or tips to get a backup working cause my brother and i both want to play the single player game at the same time on our seperate computers. any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue. I used the original CD to install on each PC and then used the NO CD Patch from GCW. Only problem is the no cd is only good for the ver 1.0 so don't update your version on BN until the new NO CD patch is available.

Also - Don't forget to back the origin WC3 EXE files the patch replaces so you can put them back to update the game to a patch from blizzard as long as the equivolent NO CD patch is available.
