HELLO IM NEW TO THE PS2 STUFF HAD A PS1 DID EVERYTHING OK BUT A BIT STUCK NEED SOME INFO
IVE GOT A PS2 30003 R AND A LIMITED EDITION AR2 V2 I NEED TO KNOW IF I BUY A NO SOLIDER MOD CHIP WILL IT WORK OR AM I BETTER GOING FOR SOMETHING ELSE

I have the same edition Ps2 as you and the no solder r mod v5/v6 worked fine and was easy to install.

However in order to play dvd backups you must ensure your version of action replay is at least 1.7 and below 2.20. You can find this out by looking on the inner side of the cd.

I have since got the messiah, but the no solder was good value if you dont mind a quick swap trick.

THANKS VERY MUCH IVE GOT THE LIMITED EDITION OF THE AR2 V2 WITH THE DATEL 8 MB MEMORY CARD I WONDER IF THIS WILL CAUSE ME A PROBLEM
