crazy taxi backup doesn't boot

I have a burnt copy of crazy taxi (pal version)
I tried to boot it but the screen just turns black.
Do i need a patch or something? please help

I have a 300002 r and use dvd region x to boot back ups.

how did you copy it - what software etc.
what burner have you got?
what modchip have you got?

I used hewlett packard mycd to burn it. i have a hp cdwriter 9100 series and an sbox mod

i checked your writer
use clonecd
read options read sub channel audio
read sub channel data
both ticked




write options
dont correct sub channel
close disk
both ticked

with these options every game will copy and boot

but there r 2 problems.
1, for some reason clonecd doesn't work on my comp, even with them speciel drivers.
and 2, I dont have the original, only the one that don't boot. If i copy the backup with cloncd ( on my firends comp) will it work or can i get a patch thati can use instead????

You said Clone CD will not work... Does is give you a error when installing or will it not recognize your burner???

You need to get the original... If the backup you have now doesn't work.... most likely the copy of the backup won't either.... The copy you have may be bad....Definately try and get the original.... If Clone CD will work on your friends computer, get the original and copy it on your friends.......

I've decided dat i'll get the original and use clone cd on my friends burner to copy it.

Just another question..... Should i copy using cd to cd or should i do it the safer way and make the image file then burn from the image file. and can i do the same thing with nero ( tick and untick a few boxes that i dont understand to make a fully booting copy) because the main program my friend uses is Nero so i won't have to download it.
