Pal-> NTSC Patches won't work, help.
 

Okay im trying to patch a pal->NTSC version of BREATH OF FIRE 4 and well Ive tried all the patches at megagames and ive also tried PAL4U but for some reason IT WONT PATCH! I run EPSXE v152 to see what it says is loaded in the MSDOS window. It keeps saying PAL CDROM loaded! So matter what I do, patch wise, it keeps saying it is PAL in EPSXE. It's in color and everything in EPSXE but on PSX its black/white and it flickers. I dont know if im doing something wrong or not.

are you following the instructions underneath the patches box (# to z) on the megagames site. Presumably you are using CDRWin and ppf-o-matic ?

...or go here http://www.megagames.com/psx/psx_utils_bootcd.shtml

and make yourself a boot disk. Try more than one if 1 st shouldn't work.
