Mod Chip Help!!
 

Hi guys

I need mod chip for my NTSC PS2 v5, for DVD-R games, any suggestion, beside Messiah! And also can disable Macrovision!

What else is there (beside Messiah) that compares....? What are you looking for??? The cheaper way out?

There is a local game store will charge me US$140.00 for Neo 2.5 + GS + installation. It really scare me off a beat!

Of course go for the cheapest way. They also mention about the No-Sold Mod Chip always burn the system!? Have you heard anything about that issue?

Being searching around the internet, I still have no clue which is the most afforable and less trouble modification.

Regardless of anything.... The Messiah is still the BEST way to go.... If you really want to go for the CHEAPEST way out......... DON'T MOD YOUR SYSTEM... The no-solder mod is basically a piece of S*^t....... The answer will always be MESSIAH...... Direct boot EVERYTHING.....(NO GAMESHARK, NO ANYTHING) Spend the extra money up front and save alot more money in the future.... Go whichever way you want but in the end you will ALWAYS come back to "Wish I would have gotten a MESSIAH".........

The messiah is only support V5 pal not NTSC?

AND ALSO V4 NTSC.... But the US Messiah is due out any day..... It will support ALL US PS2's......

No problem.... To me, it would be worth waiting a couple of weeks for the US Messiah instead of settling on a second rate chip......:cool:
