Duke Nukem MP 1.0.1 no cd
 

Has anyone been succesfull with Duke Nukem: MP v1.0.1 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed DLL?

I install full install, then 1.01 patch then No-Cd and it still asks for cd.

Anyone had success?

The crack works. Make sure you are putting the duke_base.dll crack file in the right folder.
Inside the main folder is a folder called "duke" and inside that one is a folder called "sys". Put the crack in there.

That's just where I put it.

C:\Program Files\Duke Nukem - Manhattan Project\duke\sys

Any other input. I tried it on several computers with no success.

Another crack was put up on GCW, today. Try that one out.

It's still asking for a cd with version put out at GCW the 26th. It would first error at install untill I restored original duke_base.dll (1.0.1). It then installed ok. But still looks for cd.

I'm going to deinstall/install whole game tommorow then try it again. Will post results.

I deinstalled/installed whole game. Then applied 1.0.1 patch then second crack (by fl@sh) from GCW that was put out on the 26th. I get same following results.

"Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application."

Hi Niemand, the error message you mentioned in the previous post looks like a _Safedisc_ message so it's not related to DUKE_BASE.DLL! I think there's another executable to be cracked, namely DUKENUKEMMP.EXE... See the no-CD patches for version _1.0_ on GCW, too, those might help you.

Hi Joe. Thanks for reply. The only cracks for exe's at GCW are for release 1.0. I didn't see any for 1.0.1. Maybe one will come out soon. I'll keep looking. This is no big issue.

I used the following to get it working without CD.

Full install of game.
Apply 1.0.1 patch.
Install Duke Nukem: MP v1.0.1 [ENGLISH] No-CD 1 from GCW
Install Duke Nukem: MP v1.0 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE #2

It works and still says it's version 1.0.1.

1.0.1 patch readme shows it doesn't update the exe but does update the prism3d.exe. Not sure what prism3d.exe does.

But it works.
