Legoland
Hi,
are there any ideas about backuping & run my (backup) LEGOLAND game ? |
|
I have already tried ClonyXXL - no usable answer found :-(
Any other suggestion ? |
What is the problem/error you are having.
What protection does Clony report? What burner do you have? |
The main problem :-) is:
Clony did not recognize ANY protection :-( I ran UnSafeDisk Analyser too - unfortunately with the same result - that means absolutely NO message... The only symptom I noticed was extremly long reading time (Nero, Copy 1:1) somewhere near 6% - like BadSectorsProtect ? -- BTW - thanks for your interest, but my question is: Has anybody some REAL experience focused on Legoland ??? I'm looking for help, not small-talk (sorry for low-level patience :-) |
Don't use Nero - use Clone CD with the Game profile.
How do you expect to get "some REAL" help if you didn't give details - your initial plea for help was no more than a sentence and only contained one piece of information. If you have used the very latest Clony XXL and followed it's instructions (such as it asking is the game installed so it can check for Securom New), and it still shows no protection, then it is likely to contain no protection - maybe just cd checks. If this is the case then there would be no intential errors on the cd, but the slowdown around 6% may be attibuted to your original cd being scratched. Try Clone CD with it's automatic Fast Error Skip - also change the options so that it shows the read errors it finds as this may help to show what the errors are (intentional or accidental). Another question - have you actually tried making a copy of it - that is a copy you have burned and tried to play with (not just attempting to read it). Again - the more detail you go into, the more detailed answer you will receive!! |

I'm afraid it indicates only "This software did not find any protection which was searched for" - nothing else :-( * Quote:
Good idea, but (from my previous expierence) if I am able to install & play something from one CD repeatedly but not able to backup it, it indicates some kind of protection more than physical scratched media. * Quote:
Trust me, there had been many attempts before I asked here :-( I simply ran out of general knowledge and need someone who went this way and have solved this particular situation. ***NOT VERY RESPECTFUL NOTE for ghosthacker FOLLOWS*** First of all, do not feel too injured, but: I scan some of your would-be-serious posts to other topics. Your habitual "Download Clony" or "...maybe..." IMPLIED "... and let me know if it works". That is THE ADVICE ??? Sorry, its information value is too low :-( Yes, I have tried some common software (incl. ClonyXXL :-)) Yes, I have junked several CDs made by disc-disc; disc-image-disc; even file-file techniques (retaining CD label, if you want details so much) But it fails everytime - during either CD-burn or game-install. That's why I'm disinclined of blind-shooting & trying at random. I hope you can understand. "REAL help" (inside the topic named "roblem with gameX") should look like "Hi, follow those steps: 1... 2... 3... It works fine on my system, my burner etc." No matter how many other backups have you written up, try to answer this: Are you - ghosthacker - really experienced in making the Legoland one ? Yes or no ? --- You're right, my initial post isn't too precious. On the other hand, you cann't read it "I press the $ key twice, but no cash is printed. Am I a six-year-old dummy ?" So, please, stop reproaching. Probably both of us can spend our times more efficient way. Have a nice day (cordially) |
ok i'll stop helping in this thread
Here's an idea - try all the other help dished out to you in this thread that's not from me. Goodbye |
