Playing Ps1 Games On Ps2
 

HOW DO I PLAY NTSC PS1 BACKUPS ON MY PLAYSTATION 2, I HAVE GOT A NEO 2.2 CHIP FITTED AND ALSO I AM USING A DVD REGION X?
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED AS I AM NEW TO THIS:confused:

as u know the neo2.2 doesnt let u boot ntsc backups for ps1 games.
what you need to do is burn the image to your hd then use a program availiable on gamecopyworld.com (There are a number of these) that allows you to change the region from usa/jpn to pal

It's the same process that needed to be done on certain psone chips which had this problem

You need to use clonecd or cdrwin to make an image file of the game on your pc. Then patch it using PPF-O-Matic and a "NTSC to PAL patch" for the game. Then you can burn it back to cd and it should work. The patch and programs are all available at http://www.megagames.com
