HELPP!!!the longest journey
 

sup ppl?!? can any1 help me plzzzzzzzz!!
is the longest journey's first cd impossible 2 back-up or wat?!?
i tried a 1:1 copy and everything went well..the game isnt protected from wat i can remember..
but after puttin the cd in my cdrom drive it say..the autorun shows up..u know RUN,INSTALL, etc... i click on INSTALL it says set up has preformed and illigal operation in SETUP.aze wut can i do...after installing the game from the original cd..i can play it with the copy..but i cannot install the game from the copy...wat can i do!?

It's long long ago, but i've copied the game - "in the easy way".

There is no "real" copy protection on the discs.
I've copied all the files and directories from cd to a folder on HD.
(each CD in a separate folder)
On the discs there was only one file that was not copyable.
I've used the MS-DOS Mode and copied the file with the command
COPY d:\[path\filename] c:\

So the file was not the same size like on the disc.

I've burned it back to cd-rs and the game runs very well.
No error in the game.

It was the german version of THE LONGEST JOURNEY !

i see!!! but seems thats not the same with my problem..i made a 1:1 copy usin nero 5..and i skipped the bad sectors so it was quite a fine copy or the game..and although it was the SAME cd as the original i cant run the setup file..it just says that an illigale bla bla bla as mentioned b4..and by the way i live in greece so i think the version i have is the uk or maybe the european "if there is any" but there's no greek version of the game..so...any other suggestions?!?HELP!!!
