S-Box+DVD Games
 

I have a PS2 (SCPH-30004/PAL/Made in Japan). It is modified by using S-Box. It can play games ripped to a CD (650 or 700 MB) but I am unable to boot the new DVDs! I use AR2v1 to boot the copies. Is it possible to play DVD rips without any new chip?

No USB mod will boot dvd-r backups. Your best choices are Origa or messiah.

NO MOD CHIP will boot dvd-r using a new AR2!

there is no action replay 2v1 and never has been!
(there was a AR2 v1.0 out about a month after the PS2
was first released i understand)

maybe you mean AR2 v2.1.........that version will definately
not boot DVD-r

I have the First version of AR2. I guess i'll go for Messiah anyway. But still if there is anyway (includind dissmantling PS2), please mention! Thanks
