Gran theft Auto 3 locks up
 

I have a backed up copy of the game I have installed the patch but when the intro has finished and the white GTA3 screen appears to load the game my computer locks up.
I have windows ME an AMD 1400, 512meg ram and a 64meg kyro II video card and onboard sound why is it locking up????

I read somewhere else in this forum that another person was having that same problem and it was caused by Windows Me. Personally i recommend you upgrade to Xp . W Me is just terrible.....
