Why Messiah Cannot be installed in my V2 PAL PS2?
 

:( whats wrong with V2 PAL PS2? i had my neo2 for long time and never had any DRE at all since i bought PS2 more than a year ago.
The mod guy dont recommend to install messiah on my V2 PAL PS2 :(
because he says that V2 PS2 is too old and can't read the DVD-R games well, and the laser will be blow up later.
is this true? i saw the chart http://www.ps2modchips.com/charts/charts.php
this tells V2 PAL is not supported by messiah :(

pleaaaaaaaase help!! :eek: i need to know my PS2 really can't read DVD R games!! and if it read DVDR does it damage the DVD laser???

There is no such thing as a PAL v2. The first PAL PS2 was a v3.

We have installed many v3 PAL Messiahs and apart from having to do laser calibration and in one instance laser replacement, they all work.

The Messiah itself won't wear your laser out.
