Speed Of Your Burner

Try making your writing speed lower. If that dosn't work then downgrade! :)

Yes slower speeds and/or better media.

Does your burner have BURN-proof and if so was it enabled.

Ok got it to work but only with cd-rw the cd-r is giving me error y would it only work with one and not other...I have a HP 9500 series writter how do i turn the BURN proof on.

podunkviller 15-06-2002 01:38

you dont have burnproof, dun worry about it

gh0sth@cker 15-06-2002 03:10

This is probably your problem - as you don't have BURN-proof you are suffering from buffer underruns. This is where the computer cannot give the cd writer enough data to keep it burning. If it runs out of data then the writer has to stop burning and if you have no BURN-proof you cannot start where it left off.

When you are burning cd's you will have to try to do nothing on your computer and close all unnecessary programs - even the ones that are running in the background - press Crtl+Alt+Del to see them (don't close Explorer or Systray).

Got it to work on speed 4. I have added the AWS would this cause it to do more work on cds and maybe this is causing it to have errors now. It used to work fine at max speed and now it seems it only works fine at 4...

Where can i find the post about tweak up settings for clonecd 4..seen them in here before and I couldn't find them any more.
