How to remove the cd protection?..pls help
 

I have this game Mobil 1 British Rally Championship and also got the NO CD game fixes..the patch worked well on my PC (with 52x SONY CDROM DRIVE). I copied the whole file to my others LAN Multiplayer PCs ( without CDROM DRIVE ) hoping to play my favourites rally games with my pals all nite long and the bad news was the program did not work at my LAN PCs but it works well with no CD in my computer (with CDROM DRIVE)

The error i encountered :
Couldnt find CDROM DRIVE or incomplete installation. Please install your CDROM driver or contact your hardware bla bla...

It seemed the game checks the availability of CDROM DRIVE..i tried to use Virtual Drive 6.0 and Virtual CD 4.01 but didnt give me a solution...need help plsss....thanks

make an image of your cd, use daemon tools, mount and install from the image on your other computers. you cant just copy the file directory to that hard drive and expect to play.

where can i get daemon tools/..is it the same with virtual drive systems?

Two options which you could have done youself.

Look above and see Daemon Tools
or
Search Google.

or you could make a backup and use that as well if daemon dont work
